Comunicado relativo a la celebración del EBOT EXAM y EBOT INTERIM EXAM
COMUNICADO European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology:
Being aware of the ongoing developments with COVID-19 and major events being cancelled worldwide, we know that many of you might wonder whether the upcoming EBOT events will take place or not.
Whereas a few days ago, we were still optimistic to be able to go ahead with the EBOT Interim exam scheduled for Friday, 20 March, the EBOT Examination Committee have now decided to postpone the event due to the current rapid evolution of the coronavirus disease in Europe. At this stage, we would not like to commit to an alternative date yet but are further monitoring the situation and hope to be able to announce a new date by the end of April.
We also take the opportunity to inform you that for the time being the EBOT Final exam, due to take place on 17 June 2020, is being maintained with no plans to cancel or postpone the event. For more information, please visit www.ebotexam.org.
As our utmost priority is the safety and health of all participants, we will be monitoring the situation closely to ensure that it remains safe to hold the EBOT Exam in June or then take alternative measures should the situation change.
In the meantime, our thoughts are with all patients affected and all of you managing uncertainty with resilience and adaptability.
The EBOT Examination Committee
